Job summary

Aramark at Bullock Correctional Facility seeks a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates, train the team, and ensure meals meet production plans and safety standards. You will manage sanitation, inventory, and adherence to HACCP, while coordinating meal service and recipe execution in a correctional setting.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to work independently, and commitment to safety. Starting pay is $17+ per hour with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience interacting with inmates a plus.
• Motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members for quality and quantity.
• Able to obtain a food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production and temperature logs per Aramark standards.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with guidelines.
• Train inmates on Aramark recipes and proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and meet dietary requirements.
• Manage inventory and storage of food items; request orders as needed.
• Follow HACCP policies and maintain sanitation schedules.
