Wellpath in Texas is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical services to incarcerated patients. The NP will work under the supervision of the Site Medical Director, handling routine and emergency care on-site and ensuring proper documentation and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates will have NP licensure, CPR certification, and prior experience in medical/surgical or emergency/trauma settings, with some corrections exposure.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an NP program.
• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of employment and CPR certification.
• Experience in medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma; corrections experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide routine and emergency medical care for inmates on-site.
• Document care using SOAP format and adhere to formulary.
• Coordinate coverage with Medical Director and Health Services Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of incarcerated patients.
• Support facility committees as requested.
