Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team at Hancock County Jail in Findlay, Ohio. The NP will provide comprehensive medical services to incarcerated patients under supervision, with emphasis on documentation, policy adherence, and collaboration with the Medical Director.

The role requires an active Nurse Practitioner license in the state, CPR certification, and prior corrections or emergency care experience.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Prior corrections, medical/surgical, or emergency/trauma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine medical care for inmates, including chronic care and infirmary rounds.
• Document services according to SOAP format and adhere to formulary regimens.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy for incarcerated individuals.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and Health Services Administrator; provide coverage when needed.
• Participate in facility committees as requested.
