Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years in criminal justice field with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Basic pre-service correctional officer training and state licensing where applicable.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of correctional facility management and supervision.
• Minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise security staff and inmates on shift.
• Ensure adequate staffing in areas supervised.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff.
• Make recommendations on personnel matters and assist in effective resource management.
