NaphCare is hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, EMTs and Paramedics to join our team at the Eyman Facility in Florence, AZ. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $23.00 to $24.00, depending on shift, licensure, and experience.

As a Correctional AEMT / Paramedic, you will work with correctional officers and medical staff to provide healthcare to inmates in a controlled environment. You will assess and treat patients, respond to emergencies, and support medical protocols while

Formación

• Completion of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or a higher-level Paramedic program.
• Ability to obtain the necessary state licenses for EMT or Paramedic.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred).
• Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues.
• Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Responding to emergencies, administering medications, and coordinating with other staff to ensure inmate health and safety.
• Assist with performing patient assessments, interviewing patients about current health problems, medication history.
• Taking vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, respiration, and weight, draw blood
• Documenting medical history including medications, treatment and medical conditions
• Assisting with the maintenance of medical equipment and supplies within the facility
• Complete intake screening
• Administer and read PPD
• Ensuring the safety and security of inmates and staff during medical procedures and transport
• Observing and reporting changes in patients’ physical or mental health to nurses
