Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is hiring an EMT to provide essential medical care to inmate patients within correctional facilities. You will perform initial medical assessments on intake and respond to day-to-day medical issues to ensure timely care.

This role emphasizes emergency response, basic life support, and collaboration with physicians and staff to maintain patient safety. A valid EMT/Paramedic certification and state license are required, with opportunity for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an EMT or Paramedic course.
• Unrestricted current certification or registration in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical response and basic life support in correctional facilities.
• Assess and document medical history and treatments for inmates.
• Maintain equipment and sterilize for examinations; assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers, jail administration, and patients; willing to work overtime if needed.
