NaphCare, Inc. is seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs/EMTs) and Paramedics for the Arizona Department of Corrections in Tucson, AZ. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities to work with a dedicated medical team in a controlled environment.

You will respond to emergencies, perform patient assessments, and assist with medical protocols and transport while ensuring inmate health and safety in a correctional facility.

Qualifications

• Completion of an EMT or Paramedic program.
• Ability to obtain the necessary state EMT/Paramedic licenses.
• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS CPR Certification (AHA) required.

Responsabilités

• Respond to emergencies, administer medications, and coordinate with other staff to ensure inmate health and safety.
• Assist with performing patient assessments, interviewing patients about current health problems, medication history.
• Taking vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, respiration, and weight, draw blood.
• Documenting medical history including medications, treatment and medical conditions.
• Assisting with the maintenance of medical equipment and supplies within the facility.
• Complete intake screening.
• Administer and read PPD.
• Ensuring the safety and security of inmates and staff during medical procedures and transport.
• Observing and reporting changes in patients' physical or mental health to nurses.
