Job summary

Summit is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the Corrections dining program in Chambersburg, PA. You will oversee a team of food service workers, ensure meals are prepared on time, and maintain high safety and sanitation standards across the department.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff development, and collaboration with leadership to meet dining service goals. Onsite position with emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse, client-focused environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring and onboarding new staff.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department, procure ingredients, and monitor targets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with district manager and other departments on dining service operations.
