Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess an unrestricted WY Dental Assistant certification.
• Active BLS CPR Certification (AHA) required.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information.
• Ability to interact with diverse patients, including those with mental health or substance issues.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and facility policies; pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during treatments.
• Maintain patient dental records and ensure privacy.
• Coordinate services, instruments, supplies, and documentation.
• Sterilize and disinfect equipment; keep dental suite stocked.
• Assist in triage, scheduling, and patient communications.
• Explain procedures and oral hygiene to patients; take x-rays.
