Qualifications

• Certificate or evidence of completion of a dental assistant training program preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with treatment of inmates/residents.
• Set up instruments for each patient and treatment.
• Prepare impressions and filling materials; sterilize unit after each treatment.
• Manage dental supplies and inventory as needed per procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area and sanitation methods.
• Review services to prevent duplication and ensure all interventions are completed.
