Job summary

CFG Health Systems seeks a Dental Assistant to support the Dentist in delivering high-quality care to inmate patients in a correctional facility. You will assist with procedures, sterilization, radiography assistance, charting, and patient education, ensuring safety and HIPAA-compliant operations.

The role requires a CDA credential, active state X-Ray license, BLS, and a high school diploma, with prior clinical dental office experience preferred. Per diem, day shift, in Camden, NJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of an accredited dental program and CDA credential.
• Current state X-Ray license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentist during procedures, prepare instruments and materials.
• Perform sterilization of instruments and disinfect operatories between patients.
• Assist with diagnostic X-rays and preparation of dental materials.
• Maintain accurate patient dental charts and record findings.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventative care.
