Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must test negative on all drug screenings.
• Thorough knowledge of correctional environment and practices.
• Ability to supervise and achieve desired results from staff and offenders.
• Strong communication and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inspections of the units.
• Direct staff in maintaining security and safety of offenders, buildings, and grounds.
• Manage staff training, time management, and performance evaluations.
• Identify offender treatment needs and support rehabilitation efforts.
• Set expectations, measure progress, and ensure quality and deadlines.

Education

High School Diploma or HSE

4+ years correctional/law enforcement experience

2 years supervisory experience
