Job summary
NaphCare, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Director to lead clinical services for the William C. Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, Alabama.
This leader will oversee mental health and substance abuse programs, provide strategic direction, and ensure high-quality patient-centered care within a secure correctional setting. Responsibilities include budgeting, staff supervision, policy development, and collaboration with correctional and medical teams.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- Active, unrestricted licensure as LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LMSW/LMHC in Alabama.
- Active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive behavioral health leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and clinical leadership of mental health and substance abuse programs.
- Oversee treatment services with adherence to evidence-based practices and standards.
- Ensure compliance with laws and accreditation standards; manage risks and incidents.
