Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Must conform to security standards of the institution.
• Hands-On CPR certified.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• On-call duty may be required (available to work on short notice).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect nursing care to meet inmate-patient needs.
• Plans, implements, and documents nursing care according to protocols.
• Performs assessments across intake, sick call, emergencies, and clinics.
• Educates inmates and maintains accurate medical records.
