Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse to provide ambulatory care within a correctional setting. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and function as a team leader as assigned.

Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, education, documentation, and adherence to security and infection-control policies. Night, weekend, and on-call duties may be required depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Must conform to the security standards of the institution where employed.
• Hands-On CPR certification.
• Ability to pass all required health and other screening tests.
• On-call duty may be required (available to work on short notice).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect nursing care to meet the psychological, psychosocial and emotional needs of the inmate-patient within the correctional system.
• Performs assessments in various settings and communicates data clearly in writing.
• Plans nursing care and initiates appropriate nursing actions per policy.
