Job summary

CFG Health seeks Registered Nurses to deliver direct and triage nursing care to inmate patients within established nursing processes and patient care plans.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assess health needs, document care, and ensure safety and confidentiality in a correctional setting. The role requires an active RN license in the state, prior nursing experience, and the ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state the facility is located.
• RN experience.
• Previous correctional health care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect nursing care to meet the psychological, psychosocial and emotional needs of inmate-patients.
• Performs assessments in multiple settings and communicates data clearly.
• Plans nursing care based on assessments and initiates appropriate referrals and care.
• Implements nursing and medical care orders and documents care and education.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and participates in unit problem-solving and continuous improvement.
