Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. invites a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join the NH State Prison for Men in Concord, NH. You will provide addiction recovery services, conduct intake assessments, counseling, and discharge planning within established policies.

Key duties include documenting encounters in SAMS/EMR, collaborating with medical and mental health staff, and participating in team meetings and trainings. NH licensure and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current NH license (LADC or LCAC) to practice addiction recovery services.
• CPR certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Addictions Recovery, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct addiction recovery services per policy and NH regulations.
• Conduct intake assessments, individual and group interventions, and discharge planning.
• Document inmate encounters in SAMS and the Electronic Medical Record.
• Collaborate with facility staff, medical and mental health teams.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow security and policy requirements.
