Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. in Concord, NH is seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) for a full-time position at NH State Prison for Men.

The role collaborates with substance abuse and mental health providers to advance treatment goals and inmate recovery. Responsibilities include intake assessments, individual and group counseling, treatment planning, documentation in SAMS/EMR, and participation in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Current NH license to deliver addiction recovery services (LADC or LCAC).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Addictions Recovery, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred but not required.
• Professional experience in counseling and guidance; addiction treatment services or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct addiction recovery services and consultation per Wexford policies and NH Department of Corrections regulations.
• Conduct intake assessments, individual and group interventions, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Provide consultation services when requested by facility staff.
• Document inmate encounters and addiction recovery information in SAMS and EMR.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training programs; participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Provide other services related to the functioning of the addiction recovery department as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of inmate information and coordinate with other staff and outside agencies.
