Job summary

Qualifications

• 30 mos. exp. with coaching, personal training, &/or fitness instruction or 30 mos. exp. providing work direction to incarcerated persons & training &/or development.
• Associate degree in recreation with 12 mos. exp. in activity therapy or recreation.
• Undergraduate core program in recreation with 6 mos. exp. in activity therapy or recreation.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, implements and monitors general recreation, personal development, structured therapeutic and entertainment activities for inmates.
• Works as a member of an interdisciplinary team to assess and set goals and document progress.
• Maintains records and generates reports related to treatment and activity progress.
