Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Wichita Falls is seeking a Corr Medication Aide Trainee to support the Unit Medication Room operations and to distribute medications from filled prescriptions. Major/Essential Functions

• Coordinates with patients to deliver and administer medicationsas ordered and prescribed by providers.
• Follows compliance and departmental standards to ensurepatients’ safety is prioritized.
• Ensures physical control of medications is always withindepartment standards.
• Clearly, concisely, and timely documents activities inpatients’ health records and medication administrationsystems.
• Within the scope of the specific credentials of the teammember, the team member will support clinical activities in thehealth facility under the direction of the facility director andnurse management.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which arereasonably within the scope of the duties in the job classificationand/or position description.

Applicants will be considered for either a Correctional MedicationAide or Correctional Medication Aide Trainee level position basedon education, experience, and skills.
