Qualifications

• Current credential from the Texas Department of State Health Services (or equivalent) is required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operation of the Unit Medication Room and distribute medications from filled prescriptions.
• Provide medication administration and documentation.
• Support nursing services and patient care while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional conduct policies.

Required Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited high school or GED equivalent with current credential from the Texas Department of State Health Services, OR Successful completion of a certified medication aide training course and passage of State exam.
