Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory - Cascade Division in Portland, OR is seeking a Corps Assistant to support corps programming and administration. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with reading and writing proficiency.
• Oregon Driver's License required.
• 2+ years of Salvation Army program experience preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate well.
• Bilingual in Spanish is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Corps Officers with planning, implementation and leadership of ministry programs.
• Lead and support ministries including Youth, Women’s and Men’s groups and Sunday activities.
• Serve as a Corps contact for questions about programs and events.
• Coordinate ministry projects, retreats, and fundraising activities.
• Develop volunteers and manage data entry for corps statistics.
• Support seasonal activities and coordinated outreach efforts.
