Job summary

IST Management Services is seeking a proven facilities leader to join our Port Arthur, TX office as Workplace Services Facilities Manager. You will oversee daily facilities operations, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient service delivery across our corporate spaces, partnering with vendors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in corporate facilities management, strong communication, organizational skills, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in corporate facilities management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexible schedule and reliable availability.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Analytical and critical thinker.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facilities operations for the Port Arthur campus and support facilities coordination for offices in Houston TX.
• Ensure all office locations are maintained in a safe, functional, and professional manner while complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor facility conditions and address operational issues to maintain workplace readiness.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance programs, system inspections, and equipment repairs.
• Maintain working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, BAS, fire alarm systems, lighting controls, and backup power systems.
• Track and maintain facilities documentation (building records, project files, operational reports, contracts, and regulatory documentation).
• Coordinate with global facilities teams to align processes and standards when appropriate.
