Job summary

Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is seeking a Corporate Volunteer Engagement Specialist to support daily volunteer operations, outreach, and event planning. You will supervise volunteers, manage partnerships with corporate groups, and develop engaging experiences that align with our mission to fight hunger in the community.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
• 2-5 years of volunteer management experience and/or nonprofit development or fundraising in corporate relations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills including networking and public speaking.
• Ability to partner and communicate effectively with diverse constituents.
• Communicates accurately, honestly, supportively and in a timely manner with external stakeholders and team members.
• Superb organizational skills.
• Self-starter who is proactive.

Responsibilities

• Volunteer Coordination and Community Engagement: Lead, trains, orients, and supervises volunteers at on-site events. Provide excellent customer service to motivate volunteers.
• Assist with outreach to corporate partners to develop volunteer partnerships and coordinate events, setup, and onsite support.
• Create event registration details, run shows, and ensure volunteer safety at all events.
