Job summary

Insite Legal, a respected US law firm, is expanding its Corporate practice in the New York area and seeks a mid-to-senior Associate focused on capital markets and fund-related corporate work.

You will work directly with partners and clients, handling securities offerings, fund matters, M&A and governance, with a hands-on approach in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture and clear path to partnership.

Qualifications

• JD with 4–8 years of corporate transactional experience, with exposure to capital markets and/or investment funds.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• Experience at a well-regarded law firm.
• Strong drafting skills and comfort as the day-to-day client contact.
• An entrepreneurial approach and an interest in building a practice.

• Corporate matters for fund sponsors and their portfolio companies, including formations, restructurings and governance.

A respected, full-service US law firm with deep roots in the New York metropolitan area is growing its Corporate practice and wants a mid-to-senior Associate to focus on capital markets and fund-related corporate work.

About the opportunity

This is a hands-on role in a team that advises investment managers, private funds, family offices, financial institutions and operating companies. The firm is mid-sized, so you'll work directly with partners and clients rather than on narrow slices of large deals.
