Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. in Houston, TX is seeking a Corporate Trainer to design, deliver, and continuously improve employee learning initiatives.

You will partner with managers, the Learning Content Specialist, and team members to implement training solutions that strengthen product knowledge, systems, and compliance. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in teaching or related field, at least four years of professional training experience, and strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in teaching, communication or related field required.
• Four+ years of relevant professional level training experience.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to groups of employees.
• Excellent public speaking, presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills.
• Strong communication across all channels (email, chat, phone).
• Proficiency navigating systems and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist Training Manager in coordinating and delivering training to Team Members on company systems, processes, product knowledge, employee development, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Learning Content Specialist to develop, edit, evaluate, and maintain learning materials.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee training records.
• Maintain working knowledge of company products and global knowledge of systems related to training effectiveness.
• Work with others to accomplish organizational goals and resolve problems.
• Adhere to company values and maintain professional demeanor.
