Our client is an established organization looking for an experienced Corporate Trainer to lead and support learning and development initiatives across a diverse organization.

This is a high-visibility, senior-level individual contributor role that combines strategic planning with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for helping shape the organization's training approach, maintaining an effective training calendar, developing learning materials, supporting onboarding and compliance initiatives, and ensuring employees have access to current and relevant training resources.

The successful candidate will be someone who can quickly assess an existing training environment, identify priorities, develop a clear plan, and take ownership of execution. You should be equally comfortable engaging senior leaders, people managers, and employees across different functions and levels, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences and learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain annual and quarterly training plans covering onboarding, organizational processes, compliance, professional development, and role-specific learning.
  • Coordinate and deliver in-person, virtual, and self-paced training across different employee groups.
  • Develop training materials, presentations, job aids, assessments, and other learning resources aligned with organizational requirements and best practices.
  • Support structured onboarding programs that help new employees build the knowledge and practical capabilities required for success.
  • Coordinate required compliance and workplace training through the organization's learning management system.
  • Track training participation, completion, certifications, and other relevant learning metrics, maintaining accurate records and supporting reporting requirements.
  • Partner with managers and business leaders to identify training needs, capability gaps, and opportunities to strengthen employee development.
  • Develop and deliver training for people managers in areas such as leadership, coaching, communication, and performance management.
  • Maintain central training and knowledge-management resources, ensuring materials are organized, current, accessible, and easy to navigate.
  • Support the ongoing governance and maintenance of standard operating procedures and related documentation, helping ensure materials remain current and aligned with training requirements.
  • Gather and evaluate feedback from employees and managers to identify opportunities to improve training content, learning experiences, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and provide regular updates and recommendations to HR and organizational leadership.
  • Continuously evaluate existing training practices and introduce improvements that strengthen consistency, employee capability, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Additional Details
  • Periodic travel may be required to support training and employee development initiatives.
  • Some flexibility outside standard business hours may occasionally be required depending on training schedules.
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, instructional design, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently assess training needs, establish priorities, develop a high-level training plan, and execute effectively.
  • Experience supporting SOP documentation, compliance processes, training governance, or similar structured organizational workflows.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with experience delivering training to employees at different levels of an organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, practical learning content.
  • Experience working with an LMS, intranet, knowledge-management platform, or similar learning technology.
  • Experience developing training materials, presentations, job aids, assessments, and other learning resources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 and virtual meeting and training platforms.
Preferred
  • Experience working within an organization with varied employee groups, functions, or locations.
  • Relevant experience may come from a range of industries, including professional services, field services, facilities, hospitality, retail, healthcare, logistics, real estate, or other complex organizational environments.
  • Familiarity with business systems, workforce platforms, or learning technologies.
  • Knowledge of workplace compliance and organizational training requirements.
  • Experience developing practical training for employees across a range of functions and levels.
  • Experience designing and facilitating leadership, coaching, communication, or performance management training for supervisors and people managers.
