Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst, Corporate Systems to design, enhance, and support core enterprise systems like IMT Billing, Talend, Boomi, and Snowflake.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, reliable data solutions and enable informed strategic decisions. The role requires strong SQL/Snowflake skills, API testing, and experience with data integration patterns.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2+ years in business analysis, data analytics, or systems integration with technical depth.
• Hands-on SQL and Snowflake experience for data extraction and validation.
• Strong grasp of ETL, data modeling, batch scheduling, and event-based patterns.
• Experience testing APIs with Postman or equivalent; REST/SOAP knowledge.
• Ability to read JSON/XML for integration troubleshooting and documentation.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall SDLC; willingness to learn new tech.
• Familiarity with real-time, batch, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Scripting skills in Python or Shell for automation are a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical recommendations for new system integrations.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve API/ETL issues across middleware.
• Support users and troubleshoot business systems and middleware.
• Analyze integration failures; review logs and root causes.
• Advise business users on effective use of applications and IT tools.
• Write technical specifications from business requirements and aid design docs.
• Perform integration testing and post‑implementation validation.
• Design and execute API tests using Postman; interpret REST/SOAP responses.
• Read/parse JSON and XML data structures for troubleshooting and specs.
• Develop complex SQL/Snowflake queries for data extraction and validation.
• Support ETL processes, batch jobs, and event-based pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and PMs on Salesforce, ServiceNow, ORMB, Oracle Cloud, ICE products.
• Analyze data and present insights to stakeholders; create ad hoc reports (AI optional).
• Assist in adopting additional enterprise apps like Confluence, N8N, OneTrust.
