Position Overview :

Celestar Corporation is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you'll support government hiring efforts, sourcing and engaging candidates who are driven to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Source, screen, and engage qualified candidates, particularly those with military or government contracting backgrounds.
  • Leverage applicant tracking systems (Taleo preferred), job boards, social media, and professional networks to identify and attract top-tier talent.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience and strong alignment with Celestar's mission.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop targeted recruiting strategies.
  • Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews with professionalism and care.
  • Review and format resumes for submission to hiring managers, ensuring consistency and clarity.
  • Represent Celestar at career fairs, industry networking events, and hiring functions as needed.
  • Support internal projects and initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
  • Recommend creative sourcing methods and new recruiting platforms or strategies.
  • Assist with administrative recruiting tasks and maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Travel up to 20% as required for recruiting events and candidate engagement.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of recruiting / staffing experience, or 3 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience within the defense contracting industry.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media recruiting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful candidate relationships.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
