Job summary

Global Guardian is seeking a Corporate Protection Officer to provide professional static security at a corporate office in Washington, D.C. The role secures the primary entry, maintains a safe environment, and delivers excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The position requires 5+ years of security experience, access control/front desk work, and valid permits. Regular full-time daytime shifts, located in Washington, DC, with a salary of $45.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security experience (corporate, high-end, or executive protection environments preferred).
• Experience in access control, front desk security, or corporate environments strongly preferred.
• DLCP Guard Permit (Required).
• DLCP Armed Card (Preferred).
• D.C. Concealed Permit (CCW) (Preferred).
• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide static protection and other security-related duties for the client at a designated site.
• Effectively managing office staff to ensure safety and security precautions are maintained.
• Respond to emergencies and perform adequate medical first aid operations.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise during the conduct of a mission.
• Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns promptly.
• Effectively communicate with clients and management through incident reports and other administrative tools.
• Conduct area patrols in and around the site and report suspicious activity.
• Operate and maintain protective, operational, and communications equipment.
• Promptly identify and elevate deficiencies/failures and security gaps.
• Assist with intelligence and other duties within the office.
• All other duties, as assigned.
