Global Guardian in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Corporate Protection Officer to deliver professional static security at a corporate office.

The role secures entry points, maintains a safe environment, and provides high-level customer service to employees and visitors. You will serve as the first line of defense, balancing security expertise with professional presence, carrying out duties such as patrols, emergency response, incident reporting, and coordination with management to protect people

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security experience (corporate, high-end, or executive protection environments preferred).
• Experience in access control, front desk security, or corporate environments strongly preferred.
• DLCP Guard Permit required; DLCP Armed Card and DC CCW preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide static protection and other security-related duties for the client at a designated site.
• Effectively managing office staff to ensure safety and security precautions are maintained.
• Respond to emergencies and perform medical first aid operations.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise during the conduct of a mission.
• Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns promptly.
• Effectively communicate with clients and management through incident reports and other administrative tools.

Position Summary and Objective

TheCorporate Protection Officerwill provide professional, static security services at a corporate office in Washington, D.C. This role is responsible for securing the primary point of entry, maintaining a safe and controlled environment, and delivering a high level of customer service to employees and visitors.

The agent serves as the first line of defense and first impression of the organization - requiring a balance of security expertise, situational awareness, and professional presence.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide static protection and other security-related duties for the client at a designated site.
• Effectively managing office staff to ensure safety and security precautions are maintained.
• Respond to emergencies and perform adequate medical first aid operations.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise during the conduct of a mission.
• Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns promptly.
• Effectively communicate with clients and management through incident reports and other administrative tools.
• Conduct area patrols in and around the site and report suspicious activity.
• Operate and maintain protective, operational, and communications equipment.
• Promptly identify and elevate deficiencies/failures and security gaps.
• Assist with intelligence and other duties within the office.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications and Education

Position Type, Schedule and Salary

• Regular Full-Time (RFT), non-exempt position.
• Monday through Friday.
• 8-hour shifts (daytime coverage).
• Salary: $45.00 per hour.
• Located in Washington, D.C.
