Job summary

Fenwick & West LLP seeks a Corporate Practice Manager to support associates in the Corporate group, overseeing workflow and career development. The role collaborates with Practice Support Lawyers and Legal Training to roll out initiatives and ensure effective staffing alignment across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD or MBA a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in practice management or staffing support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted resource to associates and manage workflow/time management.
• Oversee junior and lateral associates through integration and development programs.
• Manage work allocation and utilization within the workflow system.
• Evaluate practice group needs and gather data to identify gaps and support recruiting.
• Lead onboarding/offboarding and support associate engagement and morale events.
• Plan and conduct formal training with Practice Support Lawyers and Legal Training teams.
• Collaborate with Knowledge Management on tools, AI initiatives, and rollout.
• Assist leadership in strategic group decisions and initiatives.
