Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Teams and all Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to pass required background check and pre-employment drug testing.
  • Up to 50% travel requires a valid driver's license.

# Corporate Parts ManagerCCE Corporate - Selma - Selma, TX 78154## DescriptionThe **Corporate Parts Manager** is responsible for leading & directing the operations of the parts department. Ensures the parts departments are providing a high level of customer service, developing employees in all roles, leading a culture of continuous improvement, and building plans to meet operational and financial metrics.**Essential Functions/Responsibilities*** Leads culture of continuous improvement in parts department, investigates and introduces new processes and systems to enhance and streamline productivity for employees. Works with corporate departments to implement procedure and process changes and ensure adoption and understanding at the branch level.* Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for processes within the business system.* Monitors parts reporting on a daily/weekly basis. Ensures reporting metrics are accurate. Works with Information Technology department to build new reporting as needed. Provides training for parts team members on using reporting to drive metrics.* Provides problem solving assistance for external and internal customers and interdepartmental issues. Handles resolution of parts customer service issues.* Maintains relationships with vendor partners, pursues new vendor relationships, ensures company is receiving best pricing on parts, regularly assess current purchasing agreements and works to re-negotiate or re-source.* Monitors P&L for parts departments to ensure proper GL usage; helps branches and accounting fix errors. Reviews P&L outside of budget meetings and initiates corrective action. Assists with preparation of budgets and P&L to meet defined objectives.* Monitors adherence to manufacturer processes and programs. Provides monthly status reporting for management. Provides direction to branches who are not meeting requirements.* Proposes and coordinates quarterly write-offs.* Develops parts promotions to drive customer engagement.* Communicates changes in vendor of manufacturer policies to parts team members.* Assists with hiring; conducts interviews with potential applicants for managerial roles. Ensures incoming applicants are placed appropriately on the pay scale.* Conducts monthly virtual training for parts management team. Creates presentations and take away documents for team members.* Manages the HDD Tooling Sales Team; provides direction, alignment and market focus.* Provides hands-on and virtual training for parts staff, ensuring adherence to company processes and procedures. Creates training webinars, video tutorials, PowerPoint presentations.* Provides coaching, counseling and corrective action for managers and parts team members.* Manages parts pay scale, adjusting to meet training criteria and market demands. Maintains awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment standards.* Monitors and manages employee performance reviews and compensation change requests for parts department employees.* Coordinates manufacturer hands-on training course attendance. Coordinates local and regional training schools as needed.* Oversees MBO (manage by objective) incentive program; calculates commissions and communicates results, ensures metrics are driving appropriate behaviors, develops corrective action plans for branches that are not meeting metrics.* Coordinate new store startups and existing facilities; sources parts equipment and additional items needed for facility.* Leads safety, health, and environmental compliance strategies and implements changes as needed.* Ensures all operations and facilities comply with company policies, and other compliance regulations.* Represents company at factory, industry, and company events.* Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.* Performs other duties as assigned.* Will be required to office out of Irving, TX, Selma, TX or Round Rock, TX branch location.* Expected travel will be 50% of the time.## Qualifications**Skills and Experience*** Bachelor’s degree preferred.* 7-10 years progressive experience including supervision of staff.* Manufacturing, sales or construction industry experience a plus* Strong construction equipment parts knowledge, product and service knowledge and experience providing successful strategies to address parts processes, procedures, and employee related issues.* Strong business acumen, leadership, communication and analytical skills* Ability to use verbal and written communication to influence others.* Exercises independent thought and good judgement to constantly challenge and improve the processes and procedures throughout the territory.* Serves as a change agent to drive the implementation of best sales practices across the business.* Interfaces with other leaders and managers to communicate and collaborate on special projects.* Attention to details, strong business acumen and negotiation skills* Experience with CDK a plus* High degree of proficiency with Excel, Word, Teams and all Microsoft suite applications* Personal appearance must be neat and clean* Ability to successfully pass required background check and pre-employment drug testing.* Up to 50% travel requires a valid driver's license and ability to meet requirements of the Company Driver Policy; Company will review motor vehicle records annually for all employees for whom driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function or when employees must obtain and drive rental vehicles while conducting company business.
