Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal Specialist located in Midland, MI.

In this role, you will provide paralegal support on a wide range of legal topics, across all legal practice areas (excluding Litigation), as a member of the Core Legal Practices Client Services team with emphasis on demonstrated competencies such as work ethic; interpersonal effectiveness, teamwork, communication, collaboration, and collegiality; initiative and judgment; interconnected thinking and action; and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; Associate degree and commitment to earn Bachelor's degree within three years; or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher.
Minimum 1 year of prior experience in a professional legal role.
Demonstrated experience with contract/agreement processing, reviewing, drafting, negotiating, redlining, and amending.

Responsibilities

Review incoming client requests, assess for gaps or legal risk, and apply work process standards to complete requests.
Adhere to standards to drive consistency and identify inefficiencies, recommending improvements for the customer and employee experience.
Meet or exceed turnaround times and positively impact team and department metrics.
Work autonomously and balance individual success with team success; back up teammates as needed.
Foster an environment of inclusion across a global department and company.
