Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Paralegal Specialist in Midland, MI to provide comprehensive paralegal support across legal topics (excluding Litigation) as part of Core Legal Practices Client Services.

You will review client requests, assess risk, ensure adherence to standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to delivery timely, accurate work. The role requires a minimum of 1 year in a professional legal setting and a Bachelor’s or equivalent experience; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience; commitment to upgrade within three years.
• Minimum 1 year of prior experience in a professional legal role.
• Experience with contract/agreement processing, reviewing, drafting, negotiating, redlining, and amending.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

• Review incoming client requests, assess for gaps or legal risk, apply standards, and seek clarifications as needed.
• Adhere to standards to drive consistency and identify inefficiencies; recommend improvements.
