Job summary

Hirschler in Richmond is seeking a paralegal to provide legal and administrative support in its Corporate and Business Services, Investment Management and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. Responsibilities include preparing corporate documents, maintaining minute books and assisting with compliance filings.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of paralegal experience, knowledge of corporate governance, and strong communication skills. Benefits include medical and vision insurance, along with flexible spending accounts.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressively responsible work experience as a paralegal.
• Knowledge of corporate governance and transactional processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency with document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and filing of formation documents.
• Create and maintain corporate minute books.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of UCC filings.
• Serve as a point of contact with clients and vendors.

Skills

Corporate organizational experience

Securities transactional experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Education

College degree or paralegal certificate
