Talent Attraction Specialist at LHH - Legal & Compliance Practice

Overview: LHH is seeking an in-house Corporate Paralegal to join our client's legal department on a temporary basis.

This position is responsible for maintaining corporate records, managing contract repositories, and overseeing the litigation database. This role supports the legal department with research and compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for all subpoenas and coordinate the company's response.
  • Gather documentation for internal investigations and legal disputes.
  • Draft memoranda summarizing findings from investigations.
  • Administer the company's litigation database and invoicing system.
  • Maintain corporate records and serve as the initial point of contact for inquiries about corporate structure.
  • Create and manage a repository of vendor and client contracts, and handle contract-related inquiries from other departments through the Legal ticketing system.
  • Assist senior Legal leadership in distributing non-contractual legal tasks among team members.
  • Help distribute incoming contract work among Legal team members.
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for due diligence related to acquisitions.
  • Assist in creating presentations, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings for the legal department.
  • Work under the guidance and supervision of senior Legal Department attorneys.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal Certificate or Associate’s degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house setting, with exposure to various disciplines such as contracts, litigation, and ERISA.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, conducting investigations, and performing legal research is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and applications.
  • Working knowledge of databases and related systems.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Details:

  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Compensation: $24-30/hr
