Job summary

DC Restaurant Group in Arlington, VA is seeking a proactive Corporate Paralegal to join our legal operations. This role partners with executive leadership, HR, and operations to navigate hospitality regulations and multi-brand contracts.

You will manage vendor agreements, leases, and corporate records while supporting HR compliance and policy administration. A Paralegal or Notary Public certification is highly valued, with a Monday–Friday on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• Solid background as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
• Experience in restaurants, hospitality, retail, or multi-unit operations is a plus.
• Organized and able to juggle multiple priorities with precision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across departments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and modern document systems.
• Paralegal or Notary Public certification strengthens the application.

Responsibilities

• Corporate & Contract Management: review, draft, and organize vendor agreements, leases, and corporate records.
• People & Compliance: support HR with employee relations docs, compliance tracking, and policy administration.
• Operational Legal Support: manage licensing, permits, and insurance claims across locations.
• Strategic Coordination: act as liaison between company and outside counsel on litigation and labor matters.
• Research & Insight: regulatory research to keep hospitality operations compliant.
• Executive Support: handle sensitive information and assist leadership on high-priority projects.

Your Impact

In this role, you won’t just be behind a desk—you’ll be a key collaborator across our entire organization. Your responsibilities include:

• Corporate & Contract Management: Reviewing, drafting, and organizing vendor agreements, leases, and corporate records.
• People & Compliance: Supporting HR with employee relations documentation, compliance tracking, and policy administration.
• Operational Legal Support: Partnering with brand leadership to manage licensing, permits, and insurance claims across multiple locations.
• Strategic Coordination: Acting as the bridge between the company and outside counsel on litigation, labor matters, and franchise issues.
• Research & Insight: Conducting regulatory research to keep our hospitality operations ahead of the curve.
• Executive Support: Handling sensitive information with absolute discretion and assisting leadership on high-priority special projects.
