Job Title: Corporate Maintenance Manager
Department: New Product Development
Reports to: VP Operations Commercialization
Location: Wisconsin or Utah (must reside in one of these States)
The Corporate Maintenance Manager’s primary role is to drive Thrive Freeze Dry’s Maintenance programs at all facilities, implementing best practices and continuous improvement. This role acts across all facilities, and works with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to drive overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and maximize effectiveness of maintenance labor, parts, and services budgets across the company.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities Include
- Project Management: Lead and direct continuous technical improvement of the maintenance practices and procedures, and maintenance management systems CMMS). You will ensure effective execution of projects by meeting program objectives, project budgets, and schedules. Collaboration is important with corporate engineering, contracted service partners, Plant Operations and Maintenance teams, as well as Safety and Quality.
- Leading By Example: As a key member of the Operations Leadership team, you will help set the direction and policies for our manufacturing facilities. By promoting collaboration, respect, and continuous learning, you contribute to an environment where everyone thrives.
- Promoting Best Practices: Using standard metrics and goal setting across all sites, you will identify opportunities to eliminate costs and waste. By streamlining and standardizing maintenance processes, delivering on goals and objectives, and employing best in class technical solutions you help to take each facility to the next level on their continuous improvement towards world class maintenance.
- Strategy & Scorecards: You will partner with Global Engineering and Operations to deploy maintenance strategies and KPIs and metrics aligned with business/plant strategies and performance goals. While acting as the Technical Center of Excellence for Maintenance, you will be responsible for achieving all function-specific Key Performance Indicators and continuous improvement of our maintenance work systems.
- Reliability Management: Collaborate closely with both the Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure that resources are effectively focused on increasing reliability across our facilities. Your responsibilities include identifying, implementing, and documenting standards and best practices. Financial success is a priority, as you actively provide input and support the departmental budgets and long-term capital masterplan.

Qualifications Include
- Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering/technical or other related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a food manufacturing setting with maintenance/planning supervision and/or management experience.
- Expertise in predictive and preventive maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, and condition monitoring).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS and data driven maintenance planning systems required.
- Must be confident, a strong problem solver, and work well under pressure.
- Must have excellent and proven interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written, at ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Experience implementing best in class maintenance programs and strategies (TPM, RCM, Planning/Scheduling, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance)
- Experience leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions.
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and GMP compliance for maintenance activities.
- Proven ability in budget management, cost control, and executing capital projects.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel

- Place high priority on food safety, quality, and sanitation by understanding and executing Thrive Freeze Dry’s food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Hold self and others accountable to Thrive Freeze Dry’s food safety & sanitation guidelines and policies by communicating any food safety incident, observation, or opportunity to your leadership team or teammates.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations:
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 50% or more sitting, 50% or more walking, and 50% or more standing.
- The job is performed under some temperature variations and in a food manufacturing production environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift to 40 lbs. is required.
