Job summary

An Am Law 75 firm is seeking a Corporate Associate with mergers and acquisitions experience to join its transactional practice. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced corporate attorneys on a broad range of matters.

The successful candidate will work on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic corporate transactions involving clients across various industries. Responsibilities will include conducting due diligence, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, coordinating deal processes, and participating in negotiations and closings.

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of corporate transactional experience, including at least one year of mergers and acquisitions experience.
• Experience conducting due diligence and drafting transaction-related documents.
• Familiarity with purchase agreements, ancillary agreements, and transaction closings.
• Strong drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively within deal teams.
