Job summary

An Am Law 100 firm seeks a mid-level Corporate Associate with substantial private equity and M&A experience to join its transactional practice. The role offers exposure to sophisticated transactions and responsibility within a seasoned team of corporate attorneys in multiple locations including Chicago, NY, and DC.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of corporate transactional experience, with a substantial focus on private equity.
• Experience representing private equity sponsors in M&A transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, including experience with purchase agreements and other transaction documents.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions, coordinate deal teams, and oversee closing processes.
• Experience working directly with clients and collaborating with partners and other attorneys.
• Excellent academic credentials, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Admission to the applicable state bar or eligibility for admission.

An Am Law 100 firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate with significant private equity and M&A experience to join its transactional practice. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated transactions, substantial responsibility, and the chance to work with an established team of corporate attorneys.

The position involves representing private equity sponsors and other business clients in acquisitions, dispositions, leveraged transactions, recapitalizations, and related corporate matters. The successful candidate will take an active role in structuring and executing transactions, drafting and negotiating principal agreements, coordinating due diligence, and managing various aspects of the deal process.
