Aligned Talent Acquisition is partnering with a nationally recognized Am Law firm to recruit a Corporate / M&A Associate Attorney for its Chicago, IL office. The role emphasizes sophisticated transactional work, client interaction, and collaboration with experienced partners.

The attorney will engage in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, and general corporate matters, drafting and negotiating complex documents, and managing deal execution while building long-term client

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of corporate and transactional experience, including M&A and/or venture capital.
• Experience drafting and negotiating transactional agreements and corporate documents.
• Strong understanding of corporate transactions and deal execution.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Sound business judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to working with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Work on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, and general corporate matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents.
• Manage deal execution and coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• Work closely with experienced partners and develop meaningful client relationships.
