Job summary

Verdant Specialty Solutions is seeking a Corporate Training Specialist to develop training programs that build knowledge and consistency across the organization in Houston, TX. You will partner with SMEs and leaders to translate technical knowledge into practical training.

You will create instructor-led and digital learning materials, apply adult learning principles, and drive training standards and resources that impact the entire Verdant workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three+ years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, or instructional design.
• Experience partnering with subject matter experts to develop training content.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs with leaders and SMEs and develop aligned training plans.
• Translate technical knowledge into clear training content for varied audiences.
• Develop instructor-led and digital learning materials, including e-learning, videos, and job aids.
• Apply adult learning principles to different learner needs and groups.
• Establish templates and standards for training materials across the organization.
• Coordinate content reviews with SMEs and stakeholders for accuracy and currency.
• Deliver training sessions and support SMEs delivering content effectively.
• Manage training projects from needs assessment to evaluation.
• Support onboarding and company-wide learning initiatives.
• Gather feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery.
