Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate Paralegal to support the Corporate and Governance team in governance matters, securities law compliance, and related tasks. The role emphasizes fast-paced execution, organization, and a keen eye for detail.

Strong knowledge of governance principles and experience with relevant tools is expected. You will draft, review, and file documents, manage records, coordinate with attorneys, and help optimize processes with new technologies while maintaining strict confidentiality

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
• Legal experience in corporate governance preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with corporate governance matters and regulatory filings.
• Prepare materials for board and committee meetings and maintain records.
• Support governance programs and stockholder communications.
• Ensure compliance with securities laws and corporate policies.
• Use AI tools and research databases to aid in legal tasks.
