Keystone Staffing Solutions, LLC seeks a Controller to partner with the CFO, overseeing modern accounting operations and financial frameworks across multiple entities. You will lead the close process, consolidate financials, and drive performance metrics.

The role focuses on strategic CFO partnership, data-driven reporting, and transition toward advanced ERP systems for real estate portfolios. Candidates with CPA and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 5+ years accounting experience; 2 years in-house, hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare detailed cash flow projections, income statements, and balance sheets for entities and properties.
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and report findings to leadership.
• Oversee multi-entity revenue/expense allocation and consolidations.
• Maintain GAAP compliance and strengthen internal controls across entities.
• Mentor accounting teams and drive continuous process improvements.

The Controller will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO, overseeing the modernization, optimization, and execution of the company’s accounting operations and financial frameworks. This role bridges technical accounting excellence with strategic financial leadership to maximize financial operations. We are located in the Lemont / Park Forest Village / State College area.

About the Role

The Controller will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO, overseeing the modernization, optimization, and execution of the company’s accounting operations and financial frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting, Compliance & Analysis
• Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare detailed cash flow projections, income statements, and balance sheets for the corporate entity, investment funds, and individual properties.
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide actionable explanations to executive management and ownership.
• Track and allocate all revenues/expenses into proper accounts for multi-entity consolidations.
• Follow all GAAP regulatory standards to maintain compliance.
• Strategic CFO Partnership
• Act as the CFO’s primary deputy on corporate financial strategy.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on capital allocation and investment decisions.
• Modernize traditional accounting workflows and asset-level reporting procedures.
• Help lead the transition toward advanced, data-driven real estate ERP systems.
• Enforce robust internal controls across all corporate and property entities to reduce financial risk.
• Lead and mentor accounting teams.
• Foster a culture of continuous process improvement and accountability.
• Establish clear performance metrics aligned with company milestones.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience required; 2 years' experience in an in-house, hands-on accounting role.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel required.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary will be commensurate with experience but ideally would fall in the range of $100k to $140k
