Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems in Pasadena, CA seeks a Financial Analyst to join its Corporate Finance team. This role focuses on corporate forecasting, REIT earnings projections, and reporting support, with emphasis on modeling and lease data interpretation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional partners including Accounting and Regional Asset Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Understanding of lease accounting preferred.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Real estate experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills are a plus.
• Experience with Argus and/or Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain property-level projections using Argus.
• Support corporate REIT earnings projection model.
• Review leases to interpret terms and update Argus assumptions.
• Prepare leasing call notes and process leasing changes in Argus.
• Roll up projection data from Argus into the corporate projection model.
• Upload projection data into JD Edwards and analyze fluctuations.
• Prepare financial analyses and lease-related analyses.
• Assist with quarterly and annual reporting schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting and Regional Asset Managers.
• Support special projects for the Corporate Finance team.
