Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst II to join the Corporate Treasury team in Richmond, VA. You will contribute to analysis, reporting, and forecasting of the company’s financing activities, including a large securitized debt portfolio and hedging programs.

You will prepare reporting for banks and investors, support regulatory filings, and help model cash flows and debt financing strategies. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Four-year college degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Strong competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting preferred; Oracle experience helpful but not required.
• Workiva experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ongoing reporting and administration of debt programs.
• Administer daily cash flows related to securitized debt portfolio.
• Prepare monthly reporting for banks and investors and coordinate monthly settlements.
• Identify and investigate reporting issues and partner across the organization to resolve.
• Support regulatory filings; coordinate filings with management and legal counsel.
• Conduct and analyze funding requests; evaluate financing alternatives.
• Update and monitor portfolio performance statistics; create new reports.
• Develop accounting schedules related to securitization programs.
• Assist in administration of CarMax interest rate hedging programs.
