Corporate Facilities Manager
Role Summary
The Corporate Facilities Manager is skilled and self-motivated to support multiple manufacturing buildings' facilities. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime and high facility reliability. From a Corporate lens, manages preventive maintenance schedules, reacts to repairs, and organizes renovation projects. This role ensures that all buildings and equipment are well-maintained, secure, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables

All duties as assigned and the following specific activities.
- Partners with EHS to ensure building related safety protocols are in place, communicated, and overseen.
- Partners with Property Management Facility team.
- Respond promptly to facility-related requests and emergencies.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, or contract appropriate resources, for building systems, including: HVAC Systems, fire protection and security Systems, electrical and energy management, dock doors/dock plate systems, power industrial equipment, building components (roof, interior & exterior floors/walls, doors, paved surfaces and landscaping).
- Conduct routine inspections of building structures and grounds to assess and identify necessary repairs or renovations.
- Ensure all facilities are fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
- Manage facility vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services.
- Manage and execute facility projects for quality and timely completion.
- Provides strategic planning for property management best practices regarding building safety, security, and business operations use of the site.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Ensure all facilities comply with health and safety regulations and standards.
- Follows and maintains facilities' best practices, which may be different at each site location.
- Partners with departments on projects related to the facility topic area or topic domain.
- Develops ideas and solutions for continuous improvement (CI) relating to facilities projects.
- Conducts research to keep up to date on facility safety equipment requirements and changes from regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with site leadership to prioritize repairs and develop maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports and records using a CMMS or work order system.
- Creates a rapport with the workforce and management at the business(es) assigned.
- Prioritizes conflicting needs, handling matters efficiently, proactively, and following through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

Qualifications
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities
Education:
- Helpful but not required higher education in Industrial or Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Or Equivalent progressive work experience in a same type of position.
- Certification in facilities management, property management, instead of a degree, will be considered with other significant key skills combination.
- High School or GED required.
Experience:
- Safety first mindset.
- At least 5 years of progressive knowledge and responsibilities, with hands-on facility maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment most desired; other similar work settings may be considered.
- General carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, and general building upkeep.
- Mechanical Systems: HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to assess building-related situations and implement solutions.
- Strong knowledge of building systems & infrastructure, general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of national and local building codes, OSHA standards, and basic safety requirements.
- Experience with vendors, suppliers, and assigned resources to achieve the best collaboration level.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities
