Job summary

The Cason Group is seeking an Event Intern to assist with corporate event planning and support for internal activities in Columbia, SC. You will help with coordination, materials, and guest lists while gaining hands-on experience in event management and professional communication.

We offer a paid professional internship with exposure to executive assistants and HR teams, plus development sessions and opportunities to build relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support event planning and coordination for corporate events.
• Collect information from vendors, coordinate logistics, and prepare event materials.
• Assist with RSVPs, setup, and day-of event execution.
• Provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant and HR teams.
• Represent The Cason Group professionally with employees, vendors and attendees.
