  • Leading teams through complexity, demonstrating composure in ambiguous and challenging situations.
  • Deepening and evolving expertise to stay relevant.
  • Initiating open and honest coaching conversations at all levels.
  • Making difficult decisions and taking action to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness.
  • Modeling and reinforcing professional and technical standards, including PwC tax and audit guidance, the firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
The Opportunity

As part of the Finance Policy, Strategy, and Leadership team, you are expected to lead large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to ensure project success. As a Senior Manager in Corporate Development, you will play a key role in shaping the firm's strategic growth through M&A and investments. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and executing transactions that expand capabilities, industry presence, or talent pool. You will work closely with service line leaders, partners, and executives to assess strategic fit and operational alignment with the firm’s long-term growth objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and evaluating potential acquisition targets.
  • Conducting initial screening for strategic fit, execution, client impact, and capability expansion.
  • Building relationships with investment banks, industry contacts, and internal partners to maintain deal flow.
  • Performing financial modeling, valuation, synergy assessments, and deal structuring.
  • Coordinating due diligence across service lines and managing external advisors.
  • Presenting business cases and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Aligning M&A activities with strategic goals and market intelligence.
  • Assessing inorganic growth options to enter new markets or expand capabilities.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and ad hoc projects for executive and board stakeholders.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to partners and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • At least 7 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields; advanced degrees considered.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within or collaborating with a Big 4 or similar global professional services firm.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • Proven executive presence, communication, and interpersonal skills.
